In such a case, a foundation method using batter pile is expected to provide more effective resistance. Authors have been investigating the mechanical properties of batter pile foundations by executing laboratory model tests, and have found that the batter piles resist much more against the pulling load than ordinary vertical piles, and that the proposed batter piles foundation also resist more against the pulling and horizontal load than footing foundation, and the usefulness of the batter piles are confirmed as a greenhouse foundation.In this study, in order to clarify the remaining items to be solved, a series of laboratory model tests were executed to investigate the mechanical properties of pulling resistance affected by the difference of pile length and ground condition. As a result, it was found that pulling resistance of the batter piles foundation increases much more than the increasing of pile length, and the increasing ratio of pulling resistance multiplies by the pile length itself.
