| 内容記述 | On his study of the pictorial space of Arnolfini's portrait, Erwin Panofsky found the peculiar relationship between the pictorial space and its frame. He also confirmed the special character of the nuptial chamber by the comparison with Massolino's death chamber, which was constructed with central perspective. It seems to me, however, that this comparison was based on Panofsky's excellent ability as a viewer. To certify the appropriateness of his view, we compare the ideal, picture of Alberty with the several pictures of Jan van Eyck's, which contain "trompel-l'oeil" like Annunciation in Tissen Collection, Lugano. From the above we can verify his opinion and understand the pictorial space of Jan van Eyck. | |||||
